(Re)reading books: The Diary of a Young Girl
After counting all your votes, ‘The Diary of a Young Girl’ by Anne Frank is the next book on our reading list. Probably many of you know that ‘[p]ublished in English in Protected content The Diary of a Young Girl, the wartime journal of Anne Frank has become one of the world’s most widely read books, transforming its author into a symbol for the lost promise of more than one million Jewish children who died in the Holocaust.’
This Diary of Anne Frank as required reading is assigned in many countries and I my guess is that many of you have read it. On the other hand, some of you may have never read it and want to get acquainted with this brilliant work of Anne Frank. It doesn’t matter into which category you fall, I still invite you to read this book and the join the next book club meeting.
