Dear Taste Buddies,

Join us for a hands-on pasta-making workshop, where we’ll explore the secrets of fresh homemade pasta – Italian style, at Sainte Lucie Shop in Lausanne!

This class has been created exclusively for our Taste Buddies group by Caterina, the manager of Sainte Lucie. She will personally take care of us, ensuring a truly personalized and delicious evening awaits!

We’ll start with a convivial aperitivo, featuring warm homemade focaccia, Italian salumi, cheeses, and antipasti sott’oli — a perfect way to meet everyone and ease into the night.

Then we’ll dive into pasta-making. Together we’ll explore:
• A brief history and evolution of pasta
• The difference between durum and soft wheat
• Preparing simple “water and flour” pastas (gnocchi, tagliatelle)
• Making egg-based doughs (lasagne, tagliatelle, garganelli)
• A closing Q&A and debrief

We’ll finish on a sweet note with a tasting of authentic artisanal panettone.

You’ll take home the fresh pasta you’ve made — ready to cook or store! It can be kept for a few days, so you can enjoy and share it at home. 🍝
