RAOUL, circus and dance show with James Thierrée
I am so happy! The Carouge Theatre invites us to discover the last show of James Thierrée, circus performer from the Charlie Chaplin family, violinist, dancer, actor and director. His show RAOUL blends contemporary circus, mime, dance, and music. I booked 10 seats for us!
« ...A desire to dance freely, speak in trembles, break down walls, fly to the rescue, pluck at rusted strings, swing my arms and legs, sleep standing up, encounter fearsome beasts, yell at beautiful music, free the star within, slap away my bad thoughts... IN SHORT, I would like, when the moment comes, to share… the moment that comes. With you, quite simply… A show in which solitude is mirrored by abundance and the crowd, and that crowd hides, in the singular fragments of which it is composed, wild desires for freedom, connection and escape. All of which is in turn reflected on a certain Raoul. » James Thierrée, director
