Cultural Guided Walk - Village and Chateau of Prangins

Let's discover the "Surroundings"! The village of Prangins is known for its beautiful 18th century château and unique walled garden, where a national research collection of culinary, medicinal and dye plants grow in perfect harmony, delighting visitors and wildlife alike! On our gentle walk we will discover the history of the château and how the village developed around it from the 13th century to the present day, preserving a hub of community life. Learn how 18th century buildings have been repurposed to maintain their character and architectural importance and how the village has succeeded in keeping its particular rural charm throughout the centuries. After the walk we can have coffee and socialize.
This walk does not include entry to the château and its exhibitions. We will go by public transportation, buy your train and bus tickets before departure. Inform us if you will come by car.
