Walk From Lausanne to Morges & Tulips Festival
Join us for a nice walk along the lake, from Lausanne to Morges, where we will admire the annual Tulips festival Protected content
We will walk from Lausanne train station down to the lake, then along the lake to Morges. On the way, we’ll admire the 11th century church at St Sulpice, and we’ll stop for a pick-nick on the beach. Those who wish can also swim in the lake.
The walk is 13km Protected content walk) very flat, and mainly on paved paths.
Once we reach Morges, we’ll admire the beautiful tulips, and relax with a glass of your favourite beverage. Return to Geneva will be by train from Morges.
Remember to bring along with your smile and good mood:
•Train ticket to Lausanne (return from Morges)
•Water and food for picnic
•Comfortable walking shoes, and clothes suitable for the weather
•Sun cream/hat/umbrella
•Optional swimsuit
P.S. this is relatively a long walk requiring adequate physical fitness and the ability to keep up with the group. Everyone is responsible for their own safety. Walk subject to weather.
