Fête De La Danse - Beginners'dance Classes

Do you want to try out lots of new dances?

At the "Fête de la danse" you can take unlimited classes during the whole weekend, for a one-time price of CHF15. (In addition to many other events during the whole week)

I have chosen the following classes:

11.30–12.30 Danse folklorique ukrainienne (Village de la Danse, Av. de la Jonction 19)
12. Protected content Lunch/drinks
14.00–15.00 Scottish Country Dancing (ADEM Maraîchers, Rue des Maraîchers 44)
15.30–16.30 Danse orientale égyptienne (Maison des Arts du Grütli, Rue du Général-Dufour 16)
17.00–18.00 Vintage Solo Jazz et Charleston (Maison des Arts du Grütli, Rue du Général-Dufour 16)

Or you can buy the ticket at the dance locations. CASH ONLY!

You can join us and leave at whatever class you want. Please let me know when you will be joining us.

The classes will be in French, but for dance classes, you don’t need to understand much the spoken instructions.

Make sure that you meet well in advance, since the classes frequently get full.

Wear comfortable clothes. Note that it can get quite hot, especially when dancing. Relaxed style, you can go in shorts if you want.
Shoes: Wear comfortable shoes. Some of the classes insist that you take off your shoes, and go in in stockings.
