The Body Knows — A Somatic Exploration of Our Animal Body
A Somatic Journey into Movement & Nervous System Regulation
Our nervous system naturally moves through survival responses — fight, flight, freeze and fawn. These responses protect us and are meant to settle once stress has passed. But in modern life, these cycles often remain incomplete, leaving the body carrying tension, activation or fatigue.
This 3-hour workshop is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with our animal body — the instinctive, sensing part of us that often knows before the mind does.
Through gentle yoga, somatic movement, breath and awareness, we will listen to the body's signals and explore how movement can support greater grounding, balance and ease.
We will move between movement and stillness, activation and rest, allowing the body to guide the practice rather than asking it to perform.
No previous experience is necessary.
