Dear Cycling Group friends,

here a proposal for a Cycling tour to explore the M-Wasserweg from Deutsches Museum to Gmund (Tegernsee), including Taubenberg.
The tour is ~80km/800m ascent and is strictly intended for experienced bikers. The tour is mostly on cycleways, but a portion is also on unpaved/gravel path, therefore please consider joining only with appropriate bike (i.e: trekking/MTB/gravel bike).

We can stop at a nice Biergarten to have lunch. We will anyway have several breaks for drinking and snacks along the way.

Depending on the group speed and breaks, we should arrive at Gmund around 16:00, you may want to bring swimming suits so that we can have a refreshing swim after the cycling and relax at the Strandbad.

Around 18:00 we can take the regional train back to Munich (~1 hour 17,60 euro + bicycle ticket 7 euro, also valid on S/U-Bahn).

Please consider bringing enough water/snacks, appropriate clothes/equipment and sunblock. A spare inner tube is recommended. I have some tools with me.

Please ensure your bike is in good condition, including chain, gears, brakes, tires, and bearings.

Would be good that everyone have access to itinerary through Komoot app: Protected content

Looking forward to it!

Cheers,
Rita
