The small festival of world music by ars musica e.V.
For the second time in a row, ars musica e.V. is organizing a small but fine open-air festival in Protected content . "The small festival of world music" takes the audience on an extremely varied journey around the globe in six concerts, making musical stops in very different places, from Munich to Morocco.
Overview of the concerts:
1.30 – 2.15 p.m.: The Sendlinger Stadtstreicher
A classical string quartet plays music from all over the world. With: Johanna Jonas, Christiane Lukas - violin, Natalia Brunke - viola, Bea Bou - cello.
2.30pm - 3.30pm: Jazz ango
Poignant tango from Finland and Argentina, refreshing bossa nova, jazz and pop.
Featuring: Tuija Komi - vocals, Vlad Cojocaru - accordion.
3:45-4:45 p.m.: Arash Sasan
Persian vocals meet Spanish harmonies and rhythm.
With Arash Sasan - vocals + guitar, Tizian Jost - piano, Wilbert Pepper - bass, Xaver Hellmeier - drums.
17. Protected content Ça Touche
French chansons from many decades.
With: Alexandra Link-Lichius - vocals & guitar, Thomas Kapfer-Arrington - double bass.
6.15 – 7.15 p.m.: Metal, World & Wire
World music, experimental and jazz.
Featuring: Ardhi Engl - homemade instruments, Geoff Goodman - electric guitar, Enrico Sartori - clarinet.
7.30pm - 8.30pm: Maqamundo
New sounds between Orient and Occident.
With: Maruan Betawi – oud + guitar, Oliver Nözel – flamenco guitar, Ismael Betawi –violin, electric bass, Marliese Glück - percussion.
