"Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens

Dear Book Club friends
This time we meet to discuss the book "Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens, selected for us by Thomas, which we had to postpone in December.
Important note for first-time attendees: if you decide to attend, the group expects you to have read the book and present your opinion.
Here a short description from Amazon.com:
"For years, rumors of the “Marsh Girl” have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late Protected content , when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. [...]
Where the Crawdads Sing is at once an exquisite ode to the natural world, a heartbreaking coming-of-age story, and a surprising tale of possible murder. Owens reminds us that we are forever shaped by the children we once were, and that we are all subject to the beautiful and violent secrets that nature keeps."
Please remember to cancel your attendance if you are unable to participate to leave your place to others. No-shows from past activities are tracked.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
