Rando in Lavaux With Stops at the Caves Overtes

Next weekend, the open cellars event is happening in the Canton Vaud! Let's combine the visit to the "caves ouvertes" with a walk in one of Switzerland's nicest areas and UNESCO heritage site: the Lavaux!

We will take the IC train to Lausanne (leaving from Cornavin platform 5 at 08:35), and then at 09:16 the R2 train from Renens to Lutry. From Lutry, we will walk to the village of Chebres, and then down to Rivaz (approximately 10.5 km in total). This walk passes through a wine-growing area with terraces built on the slopes. This area is a UNESCO heritage site, with a unique views! Along the road, as we encounter them, we will visit some of the open cellars and taste the local wines.
