The Enchiridion is a concise manual of Stoic ethical advice compiled by Epictetus's student Arrian. Drawing from Epictetus’s longer discourses, the book focuses on how to live a life of virtue, self-control, and inner peace. It teaches that while we can't control external events, we can control our responses to them—emphasizing discipline, resilience, and reason.
