Listening to poetry — or stepping into the light to share your own voice, whether confident or trembling — can feel like slipping into a warm current.
Words become a gentle tide, carrying you somewhere softer, deeper.
This art form can also be a refuge, a place for letting go of buried emotions. Poetry becomes the safe vessel that holds what the heart struggles to say.
Or, if joy is your companion, you may choose to let it spill generously into the room, bright and infectious, a “joie de vivre” that dances from line to line.
And of course, you may simply sit back, sip your drink, and let the murmured verses wash over you. .
Whatever path you choose, poetry meets you there.
