Ong Ang Canal Night Market - A New Market
Ong Ang canal has long been regarded as one of the premier places to visit in Bangkok to eat at a number of Indian restaurants or just enjoy street food. A new night market has opened along Ong Ang canal and, judging by our visit today, is well worth a relaxing walk during the evening. We can expect over Protected content shops, street food vendors serving Thai and Indian cuisines, live music, street art, and free cultural performances like puppet shows. We have the option of either eating street food, or visiting Zafran Eatery, probably the best Indian restaurant along the canal - which has the addedded benefit of being inexpensive. Decide on the night if you would prefer street food or Zafran, or even stroll a short distance to Yaowarat Rd for a delicious Chinese meal.
