Chardonne is a great place, with good wines and an excellent lake view.

The meeting point is the entrance of Protected content We'll take the funicular and climb up through the Lavaux vineyards to the picturesque winegrower’s village of Chardonne Protected content .

We'll buy a wine glass Protected content at the first cellar and enjoy free tastings all the day in 5 or 6 different cellars. Well, if you wish you can visit more (there are around 15 cellars), but generally everybody slows down after the 4th or 5th one (lol).

Local food is always available around (not included in the 20 Fr.), while some sample free snacks in some cellars.

How to get to the meeting point?
Get a ticket from Geneva directly to Chardonne!
Take the train of 9.42 from Geneva Cornavin to Vevey. Get off at Vevey train station (10.52). The train from Vevey to Vevey-funi leaves at 11.09, while the bus leaves at 10.57!
To take the bus, you should get out from the train station, and on your right you'll see the building of Poste! The bus stop is just before the Poste. It leaves at 10.57!
Whereas, if you want to take the train, you should change the platform and take the train for Vevey-funi that leaves at 11.09.
If the weather is good, you can also prefer walking.
We meet by 11.15 at the entrance of funicular to climb up to Chardonne.
The capacity of funicular is 40 persons. So we'd take more than one funiculars as we're a big group.

If you're in delay or wish to join us later, no worries. Just take the next train or funicular, and join us up in Chardonne. If you come by car, you can reach me on mobile for timing. In any case you'll know where we are at what time..
