Hermann Göring is arrested by the Allies and, as the highest-ranking surviving Nazi official, is to be held accountable for the unimaginable crimes of the Nazi regime. Psychiatrist Dr. Kelley is assigned to assess all defendants to determine whether they are fit to stand trial. He soon becomes captivated by Göring’s intelligence and charisma, and although he recognizes his manipulative power games, Dr. Kelley finds it difficult to resist the seductive force and fascination of evil.
To gain Göring’s trust, Dr. Kelley crosses moral boundaries and even jeopardizes the Nuremberg trials.
