Salzburger Adventsingen 2025

Dear Friends,

Lets go together to the Salzburger Adventsingen. Its a shepherd play as performed in many places in the alpine region around christmas. The one in Salzburg is an iconic event visited by over 35.000 people every year, amongst them many Salzburg locals. Its a play (in German with Austrian/Salzburg dialect touch) with elements of classical music and high-class Austrian folk music. Its something very special and I would be happy, if you would join me.

For tickets, please be fast. They sell out quickly and there are not so many left.

(I have a ticket in the cheaper category - Rang, Row 16, Seat 11)

I would suggest to go by train BRB RE5 leaving from Munich Main Station at 9:55h arriving in Salzburg at 11:42h. (Deutschlandticket is valid until Salzburg; please buy your ticket also for the train ride, if necessary.)
Leaving that early leaves us relaxed, if the train is delayed and gives us time to stroll over the Christmas Market and/or have a cake at the Coffeehouse Tomaselli... (The Tomasselli Cake is super yummy!!!)

At 16:30h we need to be at the Grosses Festspielhaus and at 17:00h the play beginns.
