"On 14 February Protected content , on the initiative of Carl Sagan, the Voyager 1 space probe took the famous picture of the Earth as a small bluish speck of dust in the middle of the blackness of space: the Earth - a "pale blue dot".
Everything that we humans consider big and significant, wars, love, lust and hardship, no longer even takes up a photo pixel from a few light hours away, a dot in the vast nothingness of dark cold.
Fittingly for Valentine's Day, it is about humanity and its love for a tiny planet, free-floating in immeasurable space. Carl Sagan made possible a view of our home that gives us a rudimentary understanding of who we are, where we come from. What does the "Pale Blue Dot" mean today?"
