While Frankfurt is the bigger marketplace, Leipzig is all about readers and writers - with lively author talks, citywide readings, and a strong self-publishing scene.

You’ll also find many international publishers, a wide range of titles beyond German, and some panels or readings held in English. And if cosplay is your thing, the Manga-Comic-Con is an unmissable part of the fair.

It’s a great spot for all kinds of writers - hobby or professional, bloggers, scientists, or novelists - to get inspired, discover new trends, and meet like-minded people. Plus, Leipzig itself is a beautiful, vibrant city, making the trip worthwhile beyond the fair.
