"Participants from all over Germany will compete for the fame and honour that comes with the title of German Air Guitar Champion! Live on Stage: FROM ZERO (Linkin Park Tribute) & BUD SPENZER HEART CHOR

Whether with outfit, song selection, performance or special skills: The participants should convince the audience and the jury that they are true virtuosos on their unique instrument.

In order to offer our audience and the jury the widest possible selection of performers, we need many participants, and not just from Bavaria. We are looking for partners who organise air guitar castings at their premises and send us their winner to Backstage in Munich to let the best of the best compete.

Here is a brief overview of what exactly is involved:

All participants of the GERMAN AIR GUITAR CHAMPIONSHIP have 2x60 seconds to convince the audience and jury with their performance in the categories "Freestyle" and "Compulsory".

Freestyle: The participant plays a 60-second part of a piece chosen by him/herself.



Compulsory: The participant plays a 60-second part of a piece selected by the jury. The piece will be kept secret until the performance. A talent for improvisation is required here!

The winner becomes the official German champion and receives a flight ticket to Finland. He/she is obliged to take part in the final of the world championship.
