Moroccan bank research - freelance work! (Casablanca)
Do you have a bit of free time and want to use that to earn some money? At Consumer Intelligence, we are looking for people holding bank accounts in Morocco to join our global network of banking researchers.
Did you know that many banks add “hidden fees” to the international transfers you make? They do this by adjusting the exchange rate they offer, in addition to the fees they tell you about.
Our client wants to make sure that they are keeping the cost to their customers as low as possible, so we need your help to find out what the “hidden fees” charged by their competitors are.
For this, we are looking for people holding a standard current account in Moroccan dirham (MAD).
What would you need to do?
We will first ask you to do some checks to make sure that your account is suitable – for example, can your account receive international transfers.
Over a one-week period (Mon-Fri) we would send small transactions (c. €30 EUR) to your account from different international accounts. The amounts we send are usually in MAD, before a project starts, we will get in touch to confirm all the details.
You would then need to take a screenshot (including the time) when the payments are received to show any debits and charges.
We will use this information to show our client the hidden cost of using different bank accounts for international transfers.
If successful, we usually repeat collections every three months.
The fee for this would be £50 for signing up, and up to £100 for each project you are involved with. Usually you can deduct this from the amount of money we send to you during the week and send the remainder back to us. Alternatively, you can return it all and we can send the payment to you via PayPal or bank transfer – whichever works best for you.
