English-French role as Content Manager - Cologne (Duesseldorf)

primarily originate from Africa and the Caribbean Islands, with the offerings

Udala Media is headquartered in London, United Kingdom, and has an office in
Cologne, Germany. Due to its global online presence and depth of coverage within
the space in which it operates, the company is expanding at a fast pace and is
currently looking for a multi-lingual Content Manager to help build and manage
its entire content database.

Job Responsibilities
- Being the first point of contact and initial recipient of all acquired content, and
responsible for accurate data entry of all acquired content into the content database
- Overseeing the efficient dispatch and retrieval of content from the technical,
design, and editing teams;
- Responsible for keeping track of, and managing the work flow between the sales
directors, technical team, design teams, and editing teams;
- Taking ownership of, and being responsible for managing the content library,
and maintaining accurate inventory of the content library at all times;
- Responsible for the accurate writing of the synopsis/summaries of all received
content such as movie titles, descriptions, time duration, subtitles etc.,;
- Managing the records of licenses, keeping track of license expiration periods,
and ensuring effective co-ordination of all periodic workload and deliverables
in line with agreed timelines;
- Responsible for quality assurance on all text, audio, and visual content prior
to upload on the platform; and
- Meeting all required standards of confidentiality, and managing and meeting
deadlines on other ad hoc tasks / projects.

Required skills and experience
- Must be fluent in both French and English
- Good oral and written communication skills in both languages
- Bachelor’s degree education or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience
- Willingness to work in an international environment
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint & Word
- Excellent coordination and organisational skills
- Good numerical skills and accurate reporting
