The state capital of Western Australia is a very livable city known for its uncomplicated and easy-going atmosphere, superb beaches, colorful street-art scene, and much more! With the local transportation network — called Transperth — consisting of multiple train and bus services, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the outer municipalities of Greater Perth, such as Joondalup or the eastern Shire of Kalamunda, which are about an hour’s commute away from Perth’s center.
