There’s no doubt about it: Australia’s fastest-growing city has a lot on offer for expats. The popular tourist destination is a coastal city known for its sunny subtropical climate, surfing beaches, high-rise dominated skyline, theme parks, nightlife, and much more! With the available bus services, light-rail system, and road network, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the suburbs such as Beechmont or Willow Vale, for example, which are a 30 to 40-minute commute away from the Gold Coast’s center.
