InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Sydney

Hello to all Americans in Sydney! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Sydney? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Sydney which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: Sydney may be costly, but it also offers a very high quality of living. The state capital of New South Wales is a very multicultural city known for being one of the most visited cities worldwide, but also for its strong local economy, sunny climate, its beautiful surrounding nature, the many available outdoor leisure options, and much more! With the vast public transportation network with trains, trams, buses, and ferries, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the suburbs to the north or south, which are about an hour’s commute away from Sydney’s center.

Although Sydney has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Sydney, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
