Geneva hosts around 38 UN and international organizations, approximately Protected content , most of them use competency based interviews in their recruitment and selection. Competency Based Interview (CBI), also known as Behavioral or Situational Interview, is an interview technique used globally to assess your performance in a particular key area or skill that is attributable to successfully performing a certain job. In this type of interviews, you need to provide a specific real life example of where you match the competency being assessed, you have to be honest and candid as the interviewers can detect fakeness. You would be surprised to know that even during our daily life we are subjected to this type of questions without noticing, the most popular during dating or starting a new relation.
