Competency Based Interview (CBI), also known as Behavioral or Situational Interview, is an interview technique used globally to assess your performance in a particular key area or skill that is attributable to successfully performing a certain job. In this type of interviews, you need to provide a specific real life example of where you match the competency being assessed, you have to be honest and candid as the interviewers can detect fakeness.
