Hiking Around Dent De Jaman

This hike will take us through this magnificent region above Montreux, with its breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The ascent from Montreux with the cogwheel train already allows us to appreciate the beauty of the region and is a journey in itself. This hike is approximately 11 km long, with Protected content of ascent and Protected content of descent
From the Jaman station, we'll go just above to have a picnic on the grass. We'll then start the walk around the Dent de Jaman to reach the Col de Jaman. Then we follow a wide path along the mountain to the Col de Soladier, with its magnificent view of the mountains on the other side. Finally we start the descent through pastures and forests to reach the Sonloup station, where we take the funicular to the village of Les Avants. From here we'll take the train back to Geneva.
