Opera under the Stars & Picnic

Let’s enjoy the final event of the Protected content of Musique en Été. Under the stars, the Geneva Chamber Orchestra will present two monuments of the operatic repertoire.

First, Mozart’s drama of love—weaving irony, desire, and pretence—unfolds through arias from Così fan tutte, performed by six singers. Then, the incandescent passion of Carmen resonates in Rodion Shchedrin’s orchestral suite, featuring the most emblematic themes from Bizet’s opera.

We will meet early to secure good spots with a clear view and enjoy a picnic dinner before the crowds arrive. Please bring food, water, and something to sit on the grass. There is also a buvette.
