Julia und Georg sehnen sich nach einem Kind. Eine neue Behandlung in Dr. Vilforts Klinik soll den Traum wahr werden lassen. Doch nach der Geburt wird das Baby sofort weggebracht. Als Julia endlich mit dem Kind vereint wird, spürt sie eine unerklärliche Distanz. Irgendetwas stimmt hier nicht.
