It is a morning like any other in a concrete housing project in a Parisian suburb. Following a night of violence between the police and a group of youths, the atmosphere is extremely tense. A 16-year-old is fighting for his life after being brutally beaten during an interrogation. His friends—Vinz, Saïd, and Hubert—are driven by hatred of the system and vow revenge should their friend not survive.
