An Evening at the Bavarian Philharmonic and a Chic Cocktail Bar

Join us as Mikko Franck conducts the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra alongside Franco-Georgian pianist Khatia Buniatishvili for a performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2, followed by a performance of Anton Bruckner's Symphony No. 7.
A staple of virtuoso pianists for over a hundred years, Rachmaninoff's second piano concerto has been the inspiration for countless film composers and songwriters, including Frank Sinatra.
Inspired by Beethoven and Wagner, Bruckner's triumphant Seventh Symphony came to him in a dream. A devout Catholic, his magnum opus speaks of majestic, awe-inspiring, mysterious, and even frightening aspects of the sacred world.
Following this, we will experience one of Munich's most lively and inventive cocktail bars: Ory Bar. In addition to mixology of the highest caliber, Ory offers a live DJ and a bar menu with creative takes on classic dishes both sweet and savory available late into the night.
