IS THE AMERICAN EMPIRE COMING TO AN END?

Great Italian cuisine with pleasant dinner companions discussing a controversial topic calmly and politely. I am an American (also with Italian citizenship and waiting on my German). America controls the world's finances--through the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund--which are controlled by the U.S. In addition, the U.S. controls SWIFT--the access to world trade. It is no accident that Iran has re-entry to SWIFT as one of its negotiation ends. The dollar in the U.S. is referred to as "the almighty dollar." Then there is the U.S. military--which dwarfs the next ten strongest militaries in the world. Only China can come within shouting distance at this time. But the Iran war, and Trump's irresponsible economic policies, have seemingly begun the tolling of the bells on American hegemony. What do you think?
