InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Luxembourg

Hello to all Americans in Luxembourg! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Luxembourg? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Luxembourg which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: with well over half the population being foreigners themselves, expats moving to Luxembourg City will be in good company. The Grand Duchy’s capital is a small yet extremely cosmopolitan city known for its narrow streets, historic buildings and impressive fortifications, also for being the seat of numerous EU institutions, and much more! With the local tram and bus network, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in Luxembourg City’s less central neighborhoods like Weimerskirch or Hamm, which are less than 30-minutes away from Luxembourg’s center.

Although Luxembourg has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Luxembourg, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
