Job Offer : Technical Support Engineer (Munich)

Your mission :

As the Technical Support Engineer, you will provide expert front line support to both internal and external customers;
You goal is to strengthen customer satisfaction by offering the right Technical solution;
Provide technical phone support to customers and field personnel including Sales, Service, Marketing, Distributors, etc;
Analyze and troubleshoot complex product issues over the telephone by utilizing remote, diagnostics and applications. Some in field support will be required;
Contribute to population and maintenance of the Knowledge Management System;
Record requests for service and actions taken using both computerized and manual documentation systems in order to provide historical service records;
Escalate product issues that have exceeded set time limits and all other items related to product reliability or customer requested functionality;
Drive resolution of all system performance issues until acceptable solution is identified and implemented or it is determined to escalate;
Focus on key tasks and functions to support corporate/departmental goals;
Facilitate technical requests from field engineers;
Have flexibility in work schedule to cover European time zones, including on-call assignments;
Limited travel for field support or training will be required.

Your profil:

You have a well known diploma in the Electronical field;
Minimum 3 years of experience in bio-tech;
Minimum 3 years of experience in Field Service and/or Technical Support;
Abble to find, analyse and resolve complex issues by phone;
Strong familiarity with Operating Room protocols;
Perfect knowledge of computers and common applications;
Have flexibility in work schedule to cover European time zones, including on-call assignments;
Fluent in German (mother tongue) and English (Minimum C1 level).
