Job description:
You will be In charge of Metropolitan Touring’s communications strategies across the five countries the South American tour operator (headquartered in Quito) works in.
Responsibilities include writing and editing our trade and consumer newsletters and press releases; strengthening the company's branding; writing and editing our website content; working with the Marketing department on the editorial and visual content of company and product brochures, promotions, stands, collateral materials, etc.; creating company and product videos (includes writing scripts and overall creative direction) with a subordinate in-house audio-visual producer; developing social media strategies with the Internet department and responsibility for all social media platforms; and coordinating press trips and public relations campaigns that increase the visibility of the company’s portfolio of products in conjunction with our worldwide sales and PR offices.

Skills: Native or very close to native written English; excellent written and spoken Spanish; knowledge of Ecuador and tourism a plus; excellent communications skills (a given!); self-starter; highly-creative; team leader; organised.

Requirements: visa which enables you to work in Quito.
