SafeNet is hiring for a Paralegal to assist the legal team with support across EMEA. The position is based at SafeNet offices in Camberley, GU17 9AB, next to Blackwater mainline railway station:
Summary of the position:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and administration of various company and commercial law contracts and will support the EMEA legal team on various legal issues.
The ideal candidate will:
Have directly relevant experience as a paralegal (a combination of law firm and in-house experience within a commercial environment is preferred) or have completed the LPC or equivalent.
Have familiarity with corporate and commercial law in a multi-jurisdictional setting.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Have strong organizational skills, as well as good attention to detail.
Be capable of working independently.
Have the ability to demonstrate judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external customers as well as the ability to handle confidential and proprietary information.
Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
Ideally have knowledge of another European language.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Assisting internal clients with the drafting and negotiation of standard commercial agreements such as NDAs, channel partner agreements and other customer agreements.
Assist with the performance of corporate secretarial functions such as drafting board and shareholder resolutions and handling filings with applicable registrars, e.g., Company’s House.
Maintaining master database of company secretarial documentation, as well as electronic and hard-copy filing systems for commercial contracts.
Managing legal invoices.
Interacting with and supporting business groups (e.g. Customer Service, Finance, H.R., Sales) across the company on day-to-day legal issues.
