InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Nuremberg

Hello to all Americans in Nuremberg! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Nuremberg? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Nuremberg which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: Nürnberg, as it is called in German, has more to offer than just gingerbread and tiny bratwursts. The popular tourist destination is a Bavarian city known for the Nuremberg Trials, but also for its famous Christkindlmarkt (Christmas market), the restored medieval old town, being the birthplace of renowned painter Albrecht Dürer, and much more! With the public transportation network consisting of bus and tram services, as well as metro (U-Bahn), suburban (S-Bahn), and regional trains, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the surrounding towns and cities of the Nuremberg metropolitan area, which are just a train ride away from Nuremberg’s center.

Although Nuremberg has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Nuremberg, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
