Hidden away in the forested foothills of the Andes and only a 2-hour drive from Santiago, Tumuñan is a boutique bed and breakfast that offers guests from all over the world a year round retreat and the rare opportunity to explore and relax in an untouched part of Chile. Our gorgeous king, queen, family and twin rooms accommodate up to 12 people per night.

Guests can enjoy fine wine from our onsite vineyard plus a range of carefully selected Chilean wines, along with the lodge’s special Pisco Sours. We offer delicious home-cooked dinners - including Asado Chilean BBQ - with cuisines from around the world.

We also offer guests a range of optional activities including winery tours and tastings, horseback riding, fly fishing, hiking, yoga or just relax with a glass of wine by the pool.

We are looking for a Manager of Lodge Operations & Outdoor Guide with the below qualifications to complement our small team here at the lodge:

Between the age of Protected content
Forward-thinking, proactive & able to prioritize
Ability to train others and give direction
Eye for quality and attentive to detail
Customer service oriented
Positive and friendly attitude towards guests and colleagues working in the lodge
Works well in team environment
Communicates well with others
Maintain clean and presentable appearance
Passionate about outdoor activities - trekking, fishing, horseback riding & comfortable with leading independently
Experience guiding fishing trips
Speaks English and at minimum intermediate Spanish
Willing to get your hands dirty, do the work yourself, and lead by great example

- Leading fishing, horseback riding, and trekking trips (half-day and full-day)
- Assisting with all operational tasks around the property - gardening, caring for horses and the vineyard, cleaning, helping with rooms when necessary
- Point of Contact for the volunteers working in the lodge, giving direction for the next day’s duties and communicating information as it changes
- Maintain open communication with the Owner to understand priorities of the lodge
