• Your visa is tied to your job. Lose the job and you lose the right to stay, which Kenyans describe as a constant uncertainty.

• The summer heat and costs bite. Only 48% rate the climate and weather positively, with high utility bills and healthcare wait times.

For Kenyans, Dubai offers exceptional safety, tax-free pay, and an easy, international base with cheap travel. The trade-offs are a tough job hunt, a cooler welcome for Africans, and a visa that hinges on staying employed. It rewards those who arrive with a role lined up.
