There’s no doubt about it: Paris is a popular destination for tourists and expats alike. The French capital is a top European city known for its romance and culture, offering expats access to numerous museums, art galleries, theaters, cabaret and opera houses, as well as a world-famous fashion scene, and much more! With the well-developed urban transportation network including metro, bus, tram, suburban train services, as well as numerous domestic and international rail connections, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the nearby towns and cities of Île-de-France that are part of the Paris metropolitan area, which are , however, a bit of a longer commute away from Paris’s center.

Although Paris has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community.
