Job for a German and/or French seaking salesperson (Copenhagen)


This came through my colleagues, one of their clients is looking for a German and French speaking sales manager. Danish is not a requirement.I can't add an attachment here, so posting the whole job ad:

Do you speak fluent German or French? Do you have experience with B2B sales? Then we may have a job for you. We know our market and already have the right products at the right prices, but we’re looking for two people who can help us sell.

Expanding sales in German or French speaking markets
As an Area Sales Manager, you will have responsibility for our B2B exports to German-speaking countries or to France and will be selling our products directly to companies which produce playgrounds. We sell directly and do not use distributors or agents. You will follow the whole sales process and work on sales to new customers, as well as working on our solid portfolio of existing clients.
Take responsibility and show initiative
The previous sales manager is still in our company and will be able to bring you up to date on our clientele. At the same time, it is essential that you are able to take the initiative and work independently. We believe that you can expand our sales in these regions and can give you a good opportunity to work in your own way. When not visiting clients or taking part in trade fairs in Europe, your daily place of work will be our office in Glostrup, outside Copenhagen. We recently bought and renovated our building, which was awarded an environmental prize in Protected content . The building is spacious, with warehousing, modern offices and attractive meeting rooms for client visits and presentations.
Share knowledge and experience with good colleagues
Our sales division is divided into geographical areas and you will have a close contact to our four other Area Sales Managers. This provides a good opportunity for sparring and discussions as all have the same tasks and problems, but different languages. We operate with an informal atmosphere in the office and keep motivation and a high energy level by setting daily targets.
German or French speaking salespersons with energy
•You can have a background from many industries, as long as you have experience of B2B sales
•For both languages, you must be fluent, and be able to work and negotiate with clients in that language
•You have a driving license and can travel Protected content a year – though longer distances will be by air travel
•On a personal level, you are good at building and maintaining relationships and you understand how to present and sell our products with conviction
•Independence and drive is a must
