Junior Retention Marketer - Chinese (Johannesburg)

Objective:
Analyse the customer user experience and customer life stages and adapt existing communications, develop and test new interventions and constantly strive to improve our overall player retention rates in their targeted region.

The candidate will possess marketing, analytical and project management skills. They will also be technically minded, and be familiar with web marketing best practices. An inquiring mind is needed in order to be able to creatively solve challenges and propose new and fresh alternatives to existing processes.

Duties:

•Review and report on the competitive landscape
•Develop and implement strategies for retaining & growing the existing customer base
•Track and report on the success of implemented strategies
•Be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the player experience (and brand where required) within their target region
•Plan, organize and execute promotions and offers that are country / language specific
•Devise and initiate strategies to target customers with regards specific player experiences which promote activity and retention as an outcome
•Devise and implement promotions and initiatives to generate revenue
•Identify players for intervention or relationship management
•Support other web marketing responsibilities as needed
•Prepare and communicate regular reports to line management

Skills and Experience Required:
•Web / ecommerce experience advantageous but not a necessity
•Good project management skills
•Must be fluent in Chinese (written and verbal)
•Must be numbers driven with strong analytical skills
•Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
•Must be deadline and target driven
•Highly computer literate

Qualification: Marketing Degree or relevant qualification
