DestinationBCN is an apartment rental company offering high quality lodging for holiday and business travelers. Attention to detail, personal commitment and care are essential to the functioning of our company.
Our clientele roughly ranges from mid 20's to mid 60's and is well educated and greatly values a personal insight into the city's cultural, artistic and gastronomic scene.
Currently we are looking for a dynamic person who can help us, initially for 2 days and occasionally more days a week, which could be expanded later on.
The job involves the following aspects:
* Quality control, coordinating and supervising the cleaning team and maintenance providers:
Double-checking the cleaners' work and making sure the apartments are spotless and perfectly clean. In case something inside the apartment is malfunctioning, it needs to be solved right away.
The presentation of the apartment needs to be impeccable.
The apartments should be prepared before each check in with complimentary goods and basic stock.
* Checking in clients and customer service during their stay:
When welcoming the guests domestic appliances and any particularities of the apartment need to be explained. A quick browse through the available guides and the map along with personal tips on places of interest, restaurants and other insightful information is important to provide during the check in.
Providing answers to questions, resolving complaints and dealing with any problems and queries that customers might have during their stay.

We are looking for someone who knows Barcelona very well and is curious to learn more about the city's restaurant culture, art & architecture, design, places to visit, clubs, bars, etc.; actually any information that could benefit the stay of our guests.
Furthermore you must enjoy dealing with people and believing in the importance of quality customer service.
-Fluent in English, fluent or advanced level in Spanish
-Hands on, organised, punctual and responsible
-Work experience in hospitality of customer service positions
-Friendly and outgoing personality, committed and caring
-Ability to improvise in stressful situations when decisions need to be made quickly
-Ability to solve problems
-Minimum age: 25
-An eye for detail, interior design and styling; meticulous and perfectionist
-Knowledge of additional languages is a plus a well as interest in art, architecture and design.
-Must live in the centre of Barcelona
