We are located in a beautiful downtown office with incredible views of the sound and easy walking distance to Pike Place Market.
Answer customer phone calls and e-mails in a timely manner (includes checking stock, providing detailed product information and quotes upon request)
Order entry and follow-up through production and delivery
Handle freight issues as needed
Responsible for checking phone message on a daily basis
Set up new items and accounts in Quickbooks
Put together pricing and product information for use by customer service & other staff members
Create/ update product library with current pricing, terms, etc.
Monitor and participate in our social networking campaigns
Help send swatch requests and FedEx shipping
Test web pages for functionality, proofread for accuracy
Each employee is responsible for a subset of projects. Projects depend upon individual strengths.
Each employee also contributes constructive ideas to aid in Curran's ongoing success (i.e. ideas for sales and promotions, improvements for website and customer services, trade services, furniture lines, etc.)
The ideal candidate must have a two-year degree with work experience or at least 2 years experience working in customer service. Fresh out of university is fine too as we are willing to train the perfect candidate. Candidates must be detail oriented, hardworking, personable, organized, and able to work independently and also as part of a team. This job requires attention to detail and an ability to multitask. Candidates must have working knowledge of the internet, and familiarity with Quickbooks is a plus!
