Our Strategic Account Manager will assist the GoPro Sales Team in exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals. They will be a key contributor in a world class sales organization and establish channel strategy for driving online merchandising, sales, and brand awareness. They communicate the needs of channel to product development team to determine, define and scope potential products for the online channel.

Key Position Accountabilities

Understand various vertical markets and requirements of channel to determine best sales strategy for achieving company goals

Propose strategy and coordinate infrastructure needs or requirements based on market requirements

Act as liaison between internal objectives and customer initiatives, balancing the two for optimal results

Maintain regular communications with Sales team and key customers to review forecasts, orders, promotions, and inventory metrics

Coordinate the prioritization of orders based on importance, inventory levels, and shipping timelines with Operations team; processing orders in an accurate and timely manner

Understand the product needs from customer/channel perspective and work closely with product team to communicate needs, for potential development of future products.

Update and maintain existing customer information in GoPro’s database; scrub on a regular basis to ensure accurate reporting

Attend and update team at weekly sales meetings (have information prepared prior to and bring to meetings)

Skills and Specifications

Protected content successful proven sales track record and existing relationships with accounts that can be referenced
Protected content college degree preferred
Excellent time management skills as well as for attention to detail
Great communication skills (both internally and externally)
Ability to be onsite with Seattle based customers and occasional travel to Bay area
Sports enthusiast and technology interests a plus
Must be proficient in CRM/ERP system - NetSuite preferred


Ability to work in a team with strong interpersonal/communication skills
Self-starter, detail-oriented, and a conscientious team player
Results and deadline driven: must be willing to do whatever it takes and spend whatever time it takes to meet deadlines
Able to work independently with little direction and multitask, handling various projects at once while being extremely productive and timely
Takes great pride and ownership in work
